Videogames have hit a wall, the technology is there but do the designers use it? Some do like Hideo Kojima who has piloted the Metal Gear Solid series for the last 25 years into an epic so grandiose in scope and scale they casted Kiefer Sutherland as the new voice actor lead to add a new layer of depth. Other game designers are just lazy as ###% now. Grand Theft Auto 5 is a great game cool story I love to switch around characters and run from the cops. I noticed something because I was a programmer before I got all political and changed my major. These ############% at Rockstar games took all stuff they creates for their other games combined that #### and re-did the visuals and package that #### as a new game? Unacceptable if you love videogames like I do you know this trend is the norm now. Stop being lazy game designers before you get put out of business. I happen to know for a fact that there is some mind blowing things coming to the gaming world in about 1 year. Get your life together on that front game designers or no one will buy your games anymore when the true next generation starts.

Videogame designers have gotten lazy as ###%
Here I come to save the day again, aiming down the sights with a click of L1 or pushing in R3. Explosions abound then the mandatory controversial scene or two later and which will tie in to a geopolitical conflict that has yet to happen that will make "illuminati" conspiracy theorists say, "see man they are using the games to show their plans man!". If this sounds fun to you, you are easily impressed by trite story and even worse Videogame design.

Lebron James must play in the NFL as Optimus Prime to combat Calvin Johnson's Megatron
Imagine this, Lebron wins a 4th Championship, he signs a long term deal with the Miami Heat small story until he announces he will enter the 2014 NFL Supplemental Draft. With the first pick in the draft the North Carolina Panthers select Lebron James only "Athlete" appears by his position in the preseason presses. James jokingly says in the first press conference that they should just refer to him as "Optimus Prime". James would be excellent as a wide receiver, tight end, quarterback, or defensive back. He will dominate in the open field and challenge for a touchdown all the time. It would supercharge the NFL and the NBA as James joggles the team's schedule. I know the strong hater in many of you only can see people doing one thing excellent. That is so backwards the year 1990 thinking.

Dr. Narcisse = Dr. Doom - What it took to be a black gangster back in the day
Boardwalk Empire has always had bits of historical data peppered throughout it's story lines. None better than the current character of Dr. Valentine Narcisse portrayed by actor Jeffrey Wright. The character's ambition as a criminal pales in comparison to the shows other characters like Nucky Thompson and Meyer Lansky. You see the good doctor has much more in common with Dr. Doom the foil of Marvel Comic's the Fantastic Four.
His actions are grandiose and he sets the stage by doing things on a truly global scale. He infiltration of Chalky White's empire was equal parts gutter gangster and Freudian to a fault. While the other characters simply are dealing with their issues with bullets and double crosses. Dr. Narcisse has a plan that will in his mind liberate African Americans from a fate he himself can only truly perceive and that only he can eliminate. Not unlike any other supervillan he has people every where will to do his bidding at a moments notice his plans come together making Hannibal Lecter seem humane. To see a real life supervillan at play while Boardwalk tosses around its other story lines is too live. -thegqlife

Some Type of Way...12 Year as a Slave Review
Nothing like a moment of clarity! When things make more sense than even your clearest moments. While watching "12 year as Slave", I had one of those moments. I blog because I love the written word, so this is the equivalent of dropping free mixtapes to the masses. I have so many opportunities to use the written word in so many different ways. What if that was illegal for me to write or get a job that I was qualified for and had to work for free. I would be sick with it, I would feel some type of way. Hey what a minute that has happened! 12 year as a Slave starring, Chiwetel Ejiofor, is a film about how Solomon Northup a free man and violinist gets abducted by kidnappers in Washington D.C, and set down south via the Mississippi River on a steamboat where he gets indoctrinated to slave life then to forced to live in Louisiana to be a slave for 12 years until, Brad Pitts sends a letter to his friend in D.C. who brings his free man papers and clears the whole thing up.
That's the movie, however it all has to be seen to believe, even though I am well versed in African American history something struck a nerve when one of Solomon's master's said this, "Your an exceptional nigger but I am afraid no good will come of it". That got the tears flowing and the pain that I've ignored as a black man for most of my life as smart as I am I often wonder how the world would treat me if I was not black. While viewing the President of the United States I don't really wonder how they would view him. I know how he would be praised if he was not black. Like I said the movies made me feel some type of way. The movie should be seen by all creeds and races because you will be shocked to see how all of the ideology of slave owners and slaves still is present in society. -thegqlife

28 years later......
It's the year 2041, America has bounced back in a major way due to a concept called "unison". It was first tried in Detroit, Michigan and Chicago, Illinois. It fixed these city's blocks with innovation all the rage in a matter of years things settled even more so when Derrick Rose's 7 NBA Championship rings all but stopped the gun violence in Chicago. (Come on home Lebron). Then in 2021 Detroit opened the world's first spaceport. Things couldn't have looked up for the Earth.
This is 28 years later, and there is one person in America who may not get to see what they started. -thegqlife

Deeming things Ratchet, Hood, or Ghetto has America's nose stuck in the air for no good reason
Here I am I am out with this really beautiful sister. I mean she was bad(bad meaning dope)in everyway, great job. She was perfect on paper and our conversation was great. Until we got to the issues that surround young people that live in the neighborhoods of Chicago. I was a youth worker at the time in the Southside area for High School after school programs. I had the schools that had probation courts in the building so if teens who violated their parole they could be sent right back to juvenile or even prison. So I knew what they were going through. The aforementioned woman being from the suburbs and raised forty miles outside of Chicago didn't. What made me know she didn't was a statement that still bothers me to this day. She said, "why care about these animals". Suffice it to say girly and I didn't work out after that comment. Shocking as her comment was it wasn't the first time I heard people talk like that about Chicago's young people. So when I was too turned up when students from the High Schools I worked started getting signed to major rap labels and making their families money that they truly needed. It was also a wake up call that these young people had a voice and a story to tell, a story that America didn't want to hear and hates to look at.
Sasha Go Hard, along with Chief Keef, Katie Got Bandz pictured above are leading a new
movement of music in Chicago and the nation called "drilling music" some like to say it's ratchet. I strongly disagree
Seeing their success was like the big last laugh for the young people who many said they wouldn't become wealthy and successful. I am not saying that is why they blew up. I am saying that they are normal kids that have compelling circumstances which is tough for most adults to navigate let alone a 15 year old that has to watch over 4 brothers and sisters until their mother comes home from work. Looking at them as ratchet is not cool. People seem to think that because people like to twerk, dance, be in a gang, hustle that is so horrible. This the same way racism prevailed in the south. This attitude of looking at those different for you regarding them as sub-human is too uptight. W.E.B Dubois stated that he wanted talented African American men and women to return to the ghettoes to educate young people and uplift the people as a whole. This did happen for a time, however beginning in the early 1990s people started to lose their connection to the ghetto, they lost what it was like to have nothing in the house but your phone and how you would prank call people. They lost what is was like to be young and just being plan silly and creative because you have no money, now in the social media age people think they have an unique voice when they are mere followers of mainstream media. Mainstream media never indulges in things that are considered ghetto or ratchet until they can make money of it. That's when you get finally get Snoop Dog on Martha Stewart's show after he has been rapping for years!
The problem with deeming things ratchet is you miss out on what may eventually become mainstream, trying to be uppity or stuck up leaves you limited and lacking true knowledge. We are all connected good or bad, trying to separate yourself creates a socio-economic divide that is wide enough. -thegqlife

Fantasy Football done Science Fiction style
I have a dope fantasy football team, so dope that:
It's the year 3194. The location Chiraq, Illinois the new mega city built to entertain. The Future of the NFL is all about wild pulse pounding over top
antics as it now brings the greatest fantasy teams from the past to compete with the new teams of the NFL. This year they go after my new old team from 2013-2014 season. That's when Mike Vick, RG3, and Tyron Mathieu and other players are from my squad are transported to the year 3194 to play for the Chiraq Runners where they must score 150 points each game this season to win a trip home!
Led by Coach Chip Kelly's brain in a floating robot head this ultimate fantasy team is now the ultimate Science Fiction team! -thegqlife
